About the Role

Our Central-West Orana project is currently seeking a Finance Administrator to join the team that will be responsible for working closely with leaders, employees, candidates and various internal / external stakeholders.

• Assist with monthly payroll, including timesheets, ABA files, and payslips.
• Create and issue invoices and remittance advices.
• Manage accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments.
• Enter payable invoices and prepare banking files.
• Assist with preparing financial reports for the Executive team and government submissions.
• Maintain staff records and support onboarding of new staff.
• Respond to stakeholder account enquiries with professionalism and care.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in a construction environment is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A proactive, team-oriented attitude.
• Familiarity with accounting software and payroll systems.
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards
