QA Analyst - Senior

Senior QA Analyst to lead quality assurance efforts, design test strategies, and ensure product excellence through comprehensive testing and automation.

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Analyst to join our team in Santiago on a 3-month contract basis. You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test strategies, leading quality assurance initiatives, and collaborating with development and product teams to deliver high‑quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases for new features and releases
• Execute manual and automated testing across multiple platforms and environments
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking systems
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and acceptance criteria
• Lead quality assurance efforts and mentor junior QA team members
• Perform regression testing and ensure product stability across releases
• Participate in sprint planning and provide quality metrics and insights

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in QA testing and quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
• Experience with manual testing methodologies and best practices
• Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Nice to Have

• Experience with API testing and performance testing
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
