Senior Manager of Consulting – Platform Leader

Lead the consulting practice for a key industry, domain, or service line, driving business growth, delivering high‑quality engagements, and building capabilities that keep the team ahead of industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure the successful delivery of high‑quality consulting engagements that meet and exceed client expectations.
• Provide strategic guidance to clients, leveraging industry or domain expertise to help them achieve business goals.
• Mentor and lead project teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and enhance consulting capabilities within the platform area, including training programs, best practices, and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate new tools, methodologies, and technologies that improve consulting offerings.
• Lead business‑development initiatives to expand the client base and grow revenue, including new market opportunities, client relationships, and tailored proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12years of consulting experience, with 3–5years in a leadership or management role.
• Ability to travel up to 80% of the time, with flexibility for a dynamic schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or other advanced degree.
• 6+years of manufacturing operations experience focused on automation and controls.
• Senior consulting experience in digital transformation, cybersecurity, industrial automation, or related fields.
• Deep expertise in a specific industry, domain, or service line, with a track record of delivering impactful consulting solutions.
• Experience in the mining industry or with mining consulting.
• Expertise in process control systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI).
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with asset management and predictive/preventive maintenance strategies.
• Knowledge of OT data management, including data historians, edge computing, and integration with IT systems.
• Experience leading automation projects from concept through commissioning.
• Familiarity with ISA‑95 and ISA‑88 standards for manufacturing systems integration.
• Experience in regulated or high‑compliance environments (food & beverage, pharma, mining, or heavy industry).

Travel

Up to 80% travel depending on client needs and project demands.
